1.   Bypassing and/or inappropriate language is forbidden:
         This means you cannot bypass the censor in any form in any category other than ones only viewable to soldier and above.
Users breaking this rule will receive up to 2 or so warnings. Repeat offenders will be placed in PoW or JDC for a long period of time.

2.   Spamming is forbidden:
         Spamming is posting the same thing consecutively and/or off-topic, gibberish comments, posting in locked boards, and posting counting threads in any category is considered spam.
Users breaking this rule will receive a warning. Repeat offenders will be either PoWed for a long period of time or placed in JDC for a shorter period of time.

3.   Racism and sexism and general intolerance is forbidden:
         Personal views are allowed, but if it is intolerant of a group of people like those of other races, genders, nationalities, or religions; then keep it to yourself.
Users breaking this rule will be put in JDC or placed in PoW for a long period of time.

4.   “Flaming” and/or harassment is forbidden:
         Flaming is insulting other members with harmful intent and in a scathing manner. Though opposing views are allowed and debates among members are normal; at no time should one go to insult others.
Users breaking this rule will be put in JDC or placed in PoW.

5.   No hacking:
Hacking is logging into (or trying to log into) another user's account. Publicly releasing your account information is considered the same as hacking.
Users breaking this rule (hackers) = The hacker gets No Access, no questions

6. Inappropriate content in posts is forbidden:
          Anything inside of posts that display, depict, describe, or heavily suggest an inappropriately sexual, violent, and/or generally offensive thing or act are not allowed. This is heavily up to staff discretion. If you aren't sure what to post, ask us or go by this simple little rule: would your grandma approve of you posting it?
Users breaking this rule will receive a warning. Repeat offenders will be placed in PoW or put in JDC for a long period of time. If anything of a ****ographic nature is posted then the user will be banned permanently with no chance of appeal.

7.   Encouraging Rule Breaking is forbidden:
         This is self explanatory; if you encourage others to break the rules under any circumstances you will be punished as well.
Users breaking this rule will be punished as if they broke the rule they encouraged another user to break.

8. Personal information is not to be shared:
        Personal information contains but is not limited to pictures, names, locations, ages, and facebook accounts; thus it should not be posted here.
Users breaking this rule will receive a warning. Repeat offenders will be put in JDC.
 
9. Posting or doing ANYTHING illegal in both your country AND the United States is prohibited:
 Given that most members on this forum are under the age of 21, encouraging drug or alcohol use is forbidden. This also extends to anything involving Piracy (software piracy, not "YAAARRRGGGG, SHIVER ME TIMBERS" sort of piracy) or ****.
Users breaking this rule will be permanently banned with no chance of appeal.

10. Reporting Perfectly Fine Comments is Forbidden:
        Reporting offensive comments is important for the forums but reporting comments that don't break rules undermines the integrity of the system and should not be done. We can tell who reported comments so don't act like you're being smart if you do this intentionally.
Users breaking this rule will receive a warning. Repeat offenders will be stripped of certain privileges on the forum.

11. Impersonating Staff is Forbbiden:
        It's an annoyance to the staff, impedes our duties, and can be confusing to other users.
Users breaking this rule will receive a warning. Repeat offenders will be placed in PoW or JDC for a long period of time.

12. Signatures:
At no time may you have a signature that breaks any of the above and/or below rules or is too large and thus causes problems. Youtube videos and anything using things like Adobe Flash are allowed but it needs to be accepted by a Lieutenant+ before you can post the video.
Users breaking this rule will receive a warning and the offending signature will be removed. Repeat offenders will be punished based on their signature.

13. Abuse of power(s) is forbidden:
        Abuse of powers is defined as infringing on any number of the following where it is most accurate:
Ignoring the rules.
Random usage of powers to pester or otherwise harass a user.
Using powers to reduce the experience on the forums as a whole without a good reason.
Making any major changes without first consulting other members of similar ranking.
Using powers to monopolize management of the forum.
Ignoring results of things like votes and continuing without a good reason.
Using power as a threat.
Users breaking this rule will be stripped of their moderation related powers and instant PoW, no questions.

14. Lieuts, Generals, and Admins reserve the Right to Moderate as They See Fit
        This rule prevents people from utilizing loopholes in the rules to do anything that would be problematic. If a moderator's actions are brought into question then things will be thoroughly discussed. Generals can also deny a person of promotion.
Argument against this rule will make you look stupid.

Rules the Barracks and Bunker are exempt from:
        Bypassing, suggestive comments, and such are allowed in the barracks. Suggestive pictures, links, and videos are partially allowed (No ****ography or anything along those lines).

Soldier Voting Rules:
        Soldier voting is started by creating a thread with the username of the user you want to vote on and a poll. The poll MUST have "yes" at the top and "no" on the bottom to prevent rigging the vote. Users being voted on must understand the forum rules, be able to handle the content in the barracks, and be a good role model. Voting goes on for one week; if the user has 70 or more percent yes by the end of that time then the user is promoted.

Lieut, General, and Admin Voting Rules:
        Promoting a user to Lieutenant, General, or Admin works similar to soldier voting, however, 80% yes is required; and the user must know how to act and when to do something. Users should only be promoted to these ranks out of necessity.
